About

TeenSpeak: The Dialogue Club is a space where teens lead meaningful conversations about real-world issues. Whether it's climate change, healthcare, education, or youth empowerment, this is your place to speak your truth, challenge ideas, and spark change. Run by students, for students—we believe every voice matters.

Our dialogue club runs every week to discuss a new topic. By participating in 3+ Dialogue sessions, you will get a Dialogues portfolio you can submit with your college applications to our university partners.

I am a junior in California, passionate about financial literacy and the intersection of economics and finance. On the fun side, however, I love listening to music, playing baseball, and exploring new places. I am here to help others with SAT!

I'm a high school junior from California and would love to help you with any SAT prep or biology/science coursework! I've taken 14 APs, 5 honors classes, and 12 dual-enrollment college courses. I've been a varsity swimmer for three years now (going on my fourth year), and I have gone to nationals and state for speech and debate :) Would love to help out

Sun 3:00 AM - 4:00 AM UTCJun 8, 3:00 AM - 4:00 AM UTC

In this session, we will be discussing Climate Change and its effect on our environment. We will use this guide as a tool for our discussions!https://drive.google.com/file/d/12Lq1T_035ZcVg_oekjuTy2epk8JMVUie/view

Here’s some helpful information to help you prepare for your sessions:
📌 Session introduction: At the start of the session, the event host will provide some introductory remarks about how the session will work and tips for discussion.
🧩 Discussion partner matching: All participants will be matched with a conversation partner to discuss with. If there are uneven numbers, you may have two conversation partners.
🤝 Breakout discussions: After the session introduction, everyone will switch to their breakout discussion. Your discussion will be unmoderated, so you can start when your partner arrives in the new Zoom link.
🗺️ Discussion Guide: You will have a topic-specific discussion guide for the session to help guide conversation.
⏰ Session length: The breakout discussions are scheduled for 45 minutes but you can discuss as long as you want!
✅ Stay on topic: Please make sure to stay on topic. If you and your partner run out of things to discuss, it’s okay to end the discussion early. You will not be returning to the main group when your conversation is over.
🤔 Make the discussion your own: You probably won’t have time to answer all the guide questions so pick and choose! Feel free to also bring in your own questions and ideas outside of the guide.
📝 Survey: A mandatory survey will appear at the end of your session to fill out. This must be filled out for you to get credit for the session in your Dialogues portfolio.
🤸‍♂️ Have fun: There is no preparation needed for this event. These conversations are meant to be casual, in addition to being meaningful. We hope you enjoy it!
