About

Hi! I got an 800 on the August 2022 SAT and I want to help you guys reach your SAT Math dream scores too! In this 9-session series, we'll be covering everything there is to know about SAT Math, from the exam structure to useful formulae to topics tested. We'll be trying out questions from every topic during the sessions and trying out fun Kahoot games based on the topics we cover. I'll also be posting homework assessments that you guys can try out during the week. During the last two sessions, we'll try out practice tests to simulate the exam so that you guys will be ready to face the real thing.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

It would be preferable if you guys could attend every session in order to properly complete this course and get the maximum benefit. So, please do try to attend.

Session 1

Orientation

Since this is the first session of this series, we'll start with introductions and an ice-breaker to get to now each other better. Next, I'll explain about the structure of the SAT Math sections, including how to answer the grid-in questions. Lastly, we'll cover some topics from Heart of Algebra including linear equations and inequalities.

SAT Math

We'll start with a Kahoot! game to revise the topics we covered in the previous session. Then we'll cover the remaining topics in Heart of Algebra involving graphs and systems of linear equations and inequalities, and, if we have time, we'll start some Passport to Advance Math topics too.

SAT Math

We'll start with a Kahoot! game to revise the topics we covered in the previous session. Then we'll cover topics in Passport to Advance Math, including quadratic and exponential equations and word problems, and rational equations and expressions involving radicals and exponents.

We'll start with a Kahoot! game to revise the topics we covered in the previous session. Then we'll cover the remaining topics in Passport to Advance Math, including functions, graphs and polynomials.

We'll start with a Kahoot! game to revise the topics we covered in the previous session. Then we'll cover topics in Problem Solving and Data Analysis, including ratios, tables and graphs.

SAT Math

We'll start with a Kahoot! game to revise the topics we covered in the previous session. Then we'll cover the remaining topics in Problem Solving and Data Analysis, including data inferences, conclusions and spread. We'll also cover a few topics in Additional Topics in Math including volume word problems, if we have time.

We'll start with a Kahoot! game to warm-up and revise the key concepts needed for the session. We'll try out a practice test for the SAT Math No-calculator section, and discuss the questions you guys have trouble with.
