We will be using Khan Academy and different practice problems to review some topics that are covered in pre-algebra. This series is great for those starting pre-algebra next year and want to get an idea of what the course will entail.

This will be an introduction to the series and we will also go over our fist topic, ratios, rates, and proportions and do some practice on Khan Academy. We will also enforce using fractions and decimals in ratios, rates, and proportions. I will give out homework later in the group discussion.

We will go over our second topic, factors and multiples. We will review last session's homework and I will give homework later for this session in the group discussion. We will also do some practice problems on Khan Academy and go over the whole unit. The last 5/10 minutes will be dedicated to any questions you guys have.

This session will introduce you to basic geometry that you will see in pre-algebra. We will go over problems that cover the coordinate plane and finding missing angles. We will also review last session's homework.

We will go over algebraic expressions and equations, using distributive property in equations, and solving two-step equations. This session is great for people getting introduced to variables. We will do some practice on khan academy and go over using fractions and decimals in equations/expressions.

We will cover square roots, exponents, and scientific notation. We will also do some practice problems on Khan Academy. We will review last session's homework and go over any questions you have.

This will be our last session, so we will do a final review. We will do a quiz to see your progress and we will go over any questions/feedback you have! We will say our goodbyes and play a fun Kahoot at the end!
