About

In this series, we will cover the basics of chess through interactive sessions, from learning how the pieces move to successfully implementing the key principles of the opening.

You do not need any prior knowledge and are not required to have a physical chess board -- our practice will be done on screen!

Tutor Qualifications

At my high school, I founded a chess club where we play casual games and host a friendly learning environment. This past month, I achieved my highest Elo (skill level) on chess.com of 1831. I have competed in four quad tournaments for youth in the US Chess Federation and won two of them.
