About

In this series, we'll go over the first 5 units (about the first semester) of AP Chemistry. This series is great if you want to get a feel for AP Chemistry before taking it this fall and want to get a bit ahead. The main purpose of this series is to help you feel confident about taking AP Chem and to give you a bit of breathing room next fall when learning this challenging material in class.

**Already having completed an intro Chemistry course is required to understand the material in this series. Please only sign up if you have prior chemistry experience (such as completion of a highschool chem course).

We'll be doing units 1-5 as outlined on College Board and these are:
1. Atomic Structure and Properties
2. Molecular and Ionic Compound Structure and Properties
3. Intermolecular Forces and Properties
4. Chemical Reactions
5. Kinetics

After completing these, depending on how things go, I may extend this to go over the other 4 units.

We'll try to complete a unit every 2 sessions, but sessions will be added as needed. In each session, I'll go over all the necessary info needed and we'll do practice AP MCQs and FRQs.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Try not to miss any sessions as this is a very fast paced series and you will fall behind! Make sure to let me know if you have to miss a session so I can get you anything you missed.
