About

Hey everyone! Join this chess intro series to understand how the basic chess pieces move, some opening, middle, and endgame theory, and logic puzzles that can get us a better feel of the game. Since it's an intro series, this will only run for a few sessions starting late June. NO equipment or chess boards are required since it will be online. We may also have some chess matches for our final session. The ONLY things I recommend is to create a lichess.org account, so we can later play chess matches after learning the fundamentals. Otherwise, feel free to join and just have some fun!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Try to attend as many sessions as possible. If you do not show up to 3 sessions, I may have to withdraw you.

About the Tutor

Hey, everyone! My name is Vince and I'm a junior. I really like math, languages/cultures, music, and football⚽️. I'm a South Korean native but I currently live in the US. I have spent a lot of time doing math and I began to help my friends with it after I realized they were going through the same roadblocks that I had gone through. My goal is to keep learning new things -- history, stories, songs, etc. -- and enjoy what I do. I'm looking forward to sharing lots of things will you all on schoolhouse.world and helping you guys along the way!
