The jump from precalc to AP calc can be challenging especially during the first few weeks of school. Join this series to be part of a study group that can help you get used to calculus! (AB and BC Calc welcome :)
✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY
Since there won't be a lot of fixed "lectures" attendance won't be mandatory but try to come to as many sessions as possible to make this a study group full of familiar faces.

Hey guys! I'm a senior. I love math and I really enjoyed taking calculus. I took BC Calc my junior year and got a 5 on the AP exam. I really like to run, bake and read. I will be hosting calculus based session on a weekly basis so feel free to join one and learn with me!

Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules
An opportunity to ask general calculus questions and work on homework questions with a tutor. If there aren't many questions we will focus on going through the FRQs from the college board based on common derivative rules.

An opportunity to ask general calculus questions and work on homework confusions. If there aren't many questions we will focus on applying more complex derivative rules in combination and some word problems.

As always this is first a space to clear up confusion with any homework sessions. If those questions are answered we can learn more about complex derivatives by exploring word problems such as optimization or we can introduce integration, based on the learner's preference.
