Series Details

About

Each week, we will be going over an interesting biotechnology topic! This series will be different from a typical biology series as instead of going over biology concepts commonly taught in a normal class, we will be going over the special topic of biotechnology. My goal is to make the sessions pretty interactive, so participation is highly encouraged. Everyone is welcome, and I hope to see you here!

Tutor Qualifications

I have taken high school biology as well as a college biology course. I have also taken a college anatomy and physiology course. Additionally, in various life science events for Science Olympiad, I have won state medals in my events. Finally, I am a national honorable mention for the USABO Open competition. I find biology super fun and interesting, so I hope to share some of my fascination with all of you! :)

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Feel free to skip/miss any sessions. You won't need to have understood/been present at the previous week's meeting in order to understand the next week's topic unless specified ahead of time.

About the Tutor

Hi, I'm Grace and I'm excited to be a Schoolhouse.world tutor! I'm a current college student at MIT. I mostly host math and biology sessions, but I love all kinds of learning from English to calculus! In the past, I was an AIME, NSDA nationals, and two-time NJSHS/Regeneron STS qualifier. I also attended the Research Science Institute. I look forward to meeting you and working together!
