About

Are you interested in biology? Join Biology with Anvi! We will cover the fundamentals of high school biology. We will go over biochemistry, ecology, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, DNA and genetics, evolution, and the human body mirrored from a high-ranking high school biology curriculum! Students are expected to take notes of the lectures and proactively ask questions. We will do in-class practice questions in which each student is expected to participate in. Finally, students will receive a few questions that cover the basic/bulk of the topic learned in class. NOTE: This course is highly recommended to those who are highly motivated to learn biology and are willing to put time out of their schedules to study and review the topics. This course will require at least 1-2 hours outside of the session time to review and study per week. You will also be required to take notes during class.

Tutor Qualifications

I have taken the following biology-related courses at my high school: Honors Biology with straight A's and Human Anatomy and Physiology with straight A+'s. I have also achieved the Principal's Honor Roll student for consecutive years. Additionally, I have won 2nd place in the state Science Bowl competition.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Your attendance is very important. Because this course mirrors an honors high school science course, your attendance is mandatory. Each student is allowed 5 absences before removal from the class (exceptions made for excused absences). It will be the student's responsibility to catch up with the notes and slides by contacting the tutor. It is also mandatory that you inform the tutor of your absence within 24h of the session.
