About

What: We will be doing a basic intro to the topics taught in high school biology. This is a beginner course, so we will not go crazy with detail, just an introduction to become familiar with concepts you will see if you take biology down the line- no prior experience is needed! Our curriculum includes: Biology Basics Energy / Transport Mendelian Genetics DNA Structure/ Function Mitosis Protein Synthesis Ecology Evolution When: Classes will be every Monday from 6:30pm-7:30pm PST. There is not really a set number of weeks for this class! We will just take as many sessions as needed to cover all the content. Hope you have fun learning :)

Tutor Qualifications

I have been taking biology for about 5 years, and have covered up to AP/College level biology. I have done biomedical research, and participated in the United States Biology Olympiad. I have also tutored middle school students in a biology workshop!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Attendance Policy: This is a cumulative series, so I encourage beginner learners to attend as many sessions as they can! If you need supplemental help, please reach out to me! Overall though, I'm pretty flexible, so feel free to attend as many sessions as you want if you only need a review on some topics. As long as you are respectful of your own and everyone else's time, I will not be withdrawing you! Please be on time to sessions that you do attend! I will not wait for more than 5 minutes.
