Series Details

About

This series is for people who want to know how to correctly use statistics beyond just answering math questions on a test. Having taken a dedicated statistics class is not necessary to join (though I assume you know what mean/median/mode are, etc). We will cover topics including normal distributions, study designs, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, and significance tests. For those who are taking AP statistics next year, this can serve as a great preview to many of the topics you will be covering. The session will last about 2 weeks, though this depends on how many days a week we choose to meet.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please try to attend every session, but there will not be a strict attendance policy. During the first session, we will vote on days and times which work best for the majority of us in order to increase convenience and attendance.
