Hello and welcome to The Journeys of a Tutor, brought to you by the wonderful Personal Goal Setting (PGS) tutors of Schoolhouse!

Would you like to learn more math? Gain access to a greater attendance rate? Open the door to more tutoring opportunities? If so, then I'd like to offer you a way to acheive all of that and more!

It’s a known fact that Pre-Algebra sessions have low learner attendance rates. As a result, Pre-Algebra tutors often schedule sessions, only for nobody to come! In order to address this issue, the Personal Goal Setting (PGS) project is hosting this event to provide you, Pre-Algebra tutors, with all the tools and knowledge you will need to tutor others in Algebra 1. By tutoring Algebra 1 topics, you all as tutors may gain higher attendance rates in your sessions!

If the prospect of an enhanced future interests you, please do join us as we journey together through the world of Algebra 1!

Class days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Class Times (all are in EST):
11am (this series), knowledge up to unit 4, quiz 2 is required.
6pm (series link) no required knowledge,
8pm (series link) no required knowledge.
Office hours (for any questions you have): Saturdays at 12pm and 6pm. Thursdays at 2pm

Note: All series will last until all of Algebra 1 has been covered and fully understood. Sessions are updated every 2 weeks following this schedule.

More than 3 unexplained absences will result in removal from the program.

If you cannot attend a session, please give notice before-hand, or explain afterwards.

Hello! I'm Joe, a high school senior who's homeschooled and has a strong passion for science, technology, engineering, and math. I currently reside in Oregon, USA. I'm glad to be a part of this wonderful community! I'm here to learn what I don't know and teach what I do know! I can tutor in any math topic ranging from pre-algebra to derivatives in calculus, with a particular enthusiasm for geometry and trigonometry.
