SAT Prep Series

20

Dec 2 Digital SAT Intensive Prep | 99th-Percentile Scorer.

5th session

My most well-received and requested series is BACK! This course will cater to those studying for the Digital SAT December 2nd test date, covering both R&W and Math. - You will be reinforced with advanced topics and we'll do targeted, intensive practice question sets for your weaknesses. - You'll learn through experience, not just theory (though that is definitely covered as well). - I will always do my best to help you, on sessions or through Schoolhouse Direct Messages, with personalized advice and resources. - There will be realistic test room advice from my own experiences. More sessions to be added as we go. See you there. 👋

SAT Math

6th session

Hello, I'm Abdullah and I'm from Syria and I'm really enthusiastic to have everyone and help him/her. I've taken the SAT and scored a perfect 800 on the math portion and I would like to help other ppl score a perfect 800. In this series, I'm going to go over every SAT math concept, from circles to tips and tricks, and we will solve as many problems as we can. This series is probably going to be long because it's going to cover all the rules and tips and tricks, but I'm looking forward to helping everyone achieve their scores. I would even assign a diagnostic test to see where everyone is standing in their prepping and help everyone grow. Note: I'll add more sessions when we are done with these. So don't worry if you see two sessions only. Note 2: make sure to have a paper and pencil beside you because you may need them to write rules. It's not mandatory but it's recommended since schoolhouse doesn't permit the publishing of files. Note 3 (the last and most important one for those that didn't join): make sure to join the series before 11 of November because on this day I’m going to turn off the allow ppl to join because if I allowed ppl to join after I would need to reexplain things I’ve explained before. In other words, this will disrupt the flow of the sessions. *so make sure to join the series before 11 of November and thanks!*

Complete Digital SAT Prep - Math & R&W

14th session

Are you preparing for the Digital SAT? Are you looking for a complete guide to Digital SAT, for both the Math and Reading & Writing sections? Well, this is the series for you! Hey everyone! Welcome to the Complete Digital SAT Prep series! I'm Hafsah, a high school freshman from India, and I scored 750 in the R&W section and 730 in the Math section of the May Digital SAT. ABOUT THE DIGITAL SAT The SAT is shifting to a digital format for international students starting from March 2023, and for those in the US in Spring 2024. Apart from the digital format of the test, the Reading and Writing sections have been combined, and instead of having long passages with several questions from one passage, there'll be shorter passages, with one question from each passage. The curriculum for the Math section has also changed slightly. WHAT WE'LL DO IN THE SERIES In this series, we'll be going through all topics in both the sections of the SAT, practising problems (starting from a beginner level, slowly progressing to more advanced questions) and sharing test-taking tips with each other along the way. Sessions will be hosted on Sundays from 1:30 pm UTC to 2:30 pm UTC. I look forward to seeing you in the sessions!

SAT Math Prep

The goal by the end of the series is to finish reviewing all Math SAT topics for the digital SAT. There are 12 units (excluding the about section), so the plan is to go through one or maybe two units per two hour session, depending on our pace. In the sessions, we will go over practice problems, and learners will have the opportunity to attempt the problems before I go over them step by step. The session may end a bit early if all the desired topics have been covered, and you are free to join or leave at any time if you are not available for the full duration of the session. More sessions will be added to the series over time, please ignore the session that occurred in January of 2023, we will be restarting from November 2023.

SAT Mega Review Session

11:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Hey prospective SAT takers! If you’re taking the 12/2 SAT, this session is a great place to review topics (both R&W and Math) that you’ve had issues with in the past and to ask any and all questions you may have about content, test-taking strategies, and what to expect on test day! If you have specific topics that you’d like us to review during the session, please DM us in advance. Learner-requested content review will take up roughly the first 30-45 minutes of the session. During the session, learners are encouraged to ask questions via a google form that will be shared live. Live questions can be about anything, but we can’t promise that we’ll be able to cover content-based questions in-depth if they are not submitted ahead of time. Hope to see you there! NOTES: - This session is designed for learners who are taking the December 2nd paper-and-pencil SAT, but learners taking the dSAT or a later test are welcome. - Co-hosts are welcome to apply, as the presence of multiple hosts will make it easier to answer questions and provide different perspectives. Co-host requests will be taken until Friday, November 24. - Co-hosts will will be expected to attend a pre-session Slack huddle on Monday, November 27 at 5:30 CDT. (Accommodations can be made for special reasons.) - Sign-ups after Saturday, November 25 aren't as likely to have their "weakest area/concept" topic prioritized in the session.
