[THE FUTURE WEEK] Universal Basic Income Dialogue
Starts
Welcome to Dialogues! In this session, we will be discussing Universal Basic Income. Universal basic income is a social welfare proposal in which all citizens of a given population regularly receive a minimum income in the form of an unconditional transfer payment, i.e., without a means test or need to perform work. In contrast, a guaranteed minimum income (which this is not) is paid only to those who do not already receive an income that is enough to live on.

Stay on topic: Please make sure to stay on topic. If you and your partner run out of things to discuss, itโs okay to end the discussion early. You will not be returning to the main group when your conversation is over.
๏ปฟ
๐ค Make the discussion your own: You probably wonโt have time to answer all the guide questions, so pick and choose! Feel free to also bring in your questions and ideas outside of the guide.
๏ปฟ
๐ Survey: A mandatory survey will appear at the end of your session to fill out. This must be filled out for you to get credit for the session in your Dialogues portfolio.
๏ปฟ
๐คธโโ๏ธ Have fun: There is no preparation needed for this event. These conversations are meant to be casual, in addition to being meaningful. We hope you enjoy it!
