You want to learn organic chemistry for some reason? Look no further than this course, where we'll cover the first semester of organic chemistry in the span of a couple months. Note: More sessions will be added later!

This series will focus on AP Chemistry Units 1-4. This will be a great refresher and introduction into this challenging course. Those who are planning to take AP Chemistry(or Honors) can take this course in order to be better prepared.

Chem Club is BACK for the 2024/25 school year! This series is for all you chemistry enthusiasts to learn new and exciting topics typically not typically taught in schools and to share your passion of chemistry with others. We have kickstarted the series again with the incoming school year and are excited to continue engaging with our thriving chemistry community! For those who are new, each week, we will cover a new topic and have a fun quiz at the end of the session to challenge our knowledge. The winner of the game gets to pick next week's topic! For instance, in our previous series we covered topics like shampoos, textiles, forensics and even nuclear chemistry! Feel free to join sessions as and when you are able to, but we would love to have you as regular participants and form a consistent group. Our last series had 100+ signups, so do try to commit each week in order to prevent taking another keen learner's spot. Looking forward to seeing you in sessions! 🧪

This series attempts to cover all the portion of AP Chemistry from the beginning for the ones taking AP Chemistry in 2025. With consistent practice, weekly assessments and full revision, this series aim to guarantee a minimum 4, and if you follow the instructions, nobody can stop you from getting a 5! Let's get started!

*NOTE* Will add more sessions In this series, we will cover the AP Chemistry curriculum in 2 2-hour sessions per week. We will cover the entirety of the AP Chemistry curriculum, covering Atomic, Molecular, Ionis Compounds Structures + Properties, IMFs, Reactions, Equilibrium, Acids and Bases, Thermodynamics, and Electrochemistry. I'll try to include quizzes for each topic and we'll go over practice MC and FRQs from the actual AP test! Make sure to join my series if you want to prepare yourself for AP Chemistry and learn most of the material!

We'll go over a small bit of the honors chem curriculum each session and work on practice problems.

We will begin assuming there is no prior knowledge of chemistry, and the vast majority of the topics of AP Chemistry on Khan Academy are to be covered, though not necessarily in that order. If learners want a particular topic to be covered it can be requested. Lectures (with slides shared later) will alternate with practice problems pertinent to the lecture in the session just prior to the practice session. There are review sessions scattered in between. We mainly follow the plan outlined in the 5 steps to a 5 AP Chemistry textbook, supplemented with material from Chemistry, a Molecular Approach. Learners are not required to get any materials.

We'll go over several important topics that appear in the US National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO). Some of these topics appear in AP Chemistry as well.

Welcome to organic chemistry! In this series we will learn what the science of organic chemistry is and how we can manipulate the science to better our world. We will learn how molecules are formed, what properties molecules have and so much more! Required Pre-requisite: MUST have completed high school chemistry, if not, please join my “Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry” instead Preferred but not required: AP/IB chemistry The pre-requisites are due to the level of the content and the deepness of the material.

In this session, I will cover rates of chemical reactions, chemical equilibrium, acids and bases, electro chemistry and nuclear chemistry.

Each week, we'll go over some essential topics covered usually in introductory/honors chemistry classes and then branch off into more advanced topics that you might encounter in an AP/IB/Advanced chemistry class. All of the sessions are intended to go beyond what you have learned in class and prepare you for more complex topics. These sessions are intended to be a chill but effective way to review or learn new material! People with any kind of chemistry experience (including those who do not have it) are encouraged to come! Trying to qualify for (or recieve recognition at) USNCO nationals? This series is for you. Led by a top 150 national scorer, this series will systematically break down the USNCO local and national exams, giving you the resources and practice you need to succeed at your level. Sessions will include a general topic lecture followed by an analysis of relevant USNCO problems (and of course, you can bring your own to analyze). Regarding the series sessions - office hours will be added by request, and more sessions will be added as well, with topics most requested by learners.

Recently, I heard my friend claiming that Biology is just applied Chemistry, and that Chemistry is just applied Physics. That got me thinking... to what extent is this actually true? In this series, we'll take a look at how Chemistry can overlap with Biology and Physics, through multiple sessions aiming to highlight the ways Chemistry is used in any other science subject! Anyone can join, as long as you have just a bit of middle school science knowledge. We hope this series inspires you to branch out of just one science and understand how STEM fields are all related!

Hello! This will be a fast pace class where we review all the units in AP Chemistry. I will try to host a one-hour class every other day and each day will cover a small portion of a unit. Make sure to come prepared to learn!😀

This series is dedicated to working together on chemistry questions of any level, with the intent of increasing understanding and proficiency of chemistry.

Are you taking AP Chemistry during the school year? If you are, this course is for you. AP Chem can be a difficult, daunting course so it's nice to have some knowledge going into the class. In this course, we'll go over the material covered in the AP Chemistry course to get everyone ready for the school year. By the end of this, you should have a general understanding of all the content in the AP Chem course. In addition, we will also do practice questions from the AP Exam. A basic understanding of chemistry, either Honors Chem or Pre-AP Chem or a similar class, is needed to be able to take this course. We will be finishing one unit every 2 classes or so.

There will be a syllabus tailored to the course and exam description for AP Chemistry that I will review for the first session. Each session will be around an hour, and recommended* practice materials will be around 5 multiple choice questions and 1 free response question each time.

Each week, we will go over different topics of the AP chemistry syllabus, and I'll share some tips, tricks, and other strategies to help you ace the AP Chemistry course and exam.

This series is perfect for learners who have specific questions about chemistry, would like to discuss strategies, tricks, and methods for approaching problems, or are looking to strengthen their skills and understanding of topics and concepts. The direction of this series will be determined by what domains learners request to cover the most. The tutors hosting have taken honors and AP chemistry, and we will therefore be most familiar with topics in those curriculums. However, as this is a study space, all chemistry-related questions are encouraged, and we are always happy to learn something new alongside learners.

In this series, we will review basic chemistry concepts and start looking at the AP Chem curriculum, so you all can do well in your class. Additionally, we will go over AP Chem multiple choice questions and free response questions so you feel confident when the AP Exam comes around!
