Nice way of demonstrating the knowledge to the learner! You explained and distinguished between constant and coefficient, and therefore gave the reason why the coeffient was what needed to look for. For the second question, you continued to give a clear reason why we have to look for 8 as either a base or coefficient. Your plug-in method made it clearer for the learner to understand the problem better. Kudos!
