Tips for Studying French (at any level, including AP/Equivalent!)

Bonjour! J'espère que vous allez bien! This short series is specifically designed for anyone taking an advanced French class (French 2/3+, AP French or equivalent) or anyone self-studying the French language or the AP/equivalent French exam who would like tips for success and further improving your language skills outside of the classroom! From my experience self-studying for the AP French exam while taking a lower-level French class, I’ve learned that your ability to speak and understand a language can often be more dependent on the effort you put in outside of the classroom. The strategies we’ll go over will help you succeed on writing/speaking/listening comprehension assessments in any level of French class, as well as on the AP Exam! More than half of each session will be a time for you to raise questions and concerns or things you may want to improve on in your French studies, and I’ll try to help out as best I can. I'll share strategies/tips in French only if you all are comfortable with it (answer in the welcome question), but you're welcome to speak whichever language is easiest for you!

Have Fun While Preparing for AP Physics 1!

This series is for anyone taking the AP Physics 1 course/exam this upcoming school year who would like a comprehensive preview of the AP Physics 1 Exam and the content covered in the course. Whether you're self-studying or taking the class online or in person, come have fun while preparing for AP Physics 1! I love physics, and I'm really excited to help set you up for success in the class and on the exam! We will start with a broad overview of the course and exam, and then focus on one unit per session, covering essential concepts, equations, and practice problems. I will also share resources and study tips for each unit, in order to ensure that you can achieve your AP Physics 1 goals! Last year, as a high school junior, I took AP Physics 1 online, and scored a 5. While AP Physics 1 is admittedly a difficult class, it is simultaneously fun and fascinating, and I strongly believe that everyone is capable of success with the right preparation, resources, and study strategies! This course is designed to be a foundational step in your preparation for success.

Reading and Writing for the August 2024 SAT

Hi, my name is Hanna, and I'm really excited to help you prepare for the Reading and Writing section of the digital SAT! I know this part of the exam can seem daunting, but don't fret! We will have fun work through practice questions on a wide range of topics, and learn tips to interpret questions efficiently and effectively to help you score the most points possible in the limited time you have. I scored a 780 on the Reading and Writing section of my digital SAT, and I strongly believe that anything can be accomplished with practice, no matter your current confidence with the exam! I am a rising high school senior, and my favorite subjects are Physics, Math, and French, and I thoroughly enjoy English as well. Outside of school, I enjoy leading my Tutoring and International clubs, as well as working on public health and chronic pain-related projects. I am looking forward to embarking on this exciting journey with you!

Hi! My name is Hanna, and I am really excited to work with you to prepare for the math section of the digital SAT! I know this critical exam may seem daunting, but practice makes perfect, and I have tutored two SAT bootcamps in the past, so I have lots of experience and tips for this exam that I will be sharing with you all. At school, my favorite subjects are Math, Physics, and French, and I enjoy leading my Tutoring Club and International Club. This SAT Math Skill Builder course will use the Khan Academy curriculum to help you learn the most important concepts for the SAT Math test. You can then enroll in an SAT Bootcamp for your testing month and be ready to tackle the SAT!
