SAT Mega Review Session

Hey, prospective DSAT takers! The SAT Mega Review Session is back!

If you’re taking the June DSAT tomorrow, this session is a great place to review topics (both R&W and Math) that you’ve had issues with in the past and to ask any and all questions you may have about content, test-taking strategies, and what to expect on test day!

Details TBD.

Hope to see you there!

NOTES:
- Co-hosts are welcome to apply, as the presence of multiple hosts will make it easier to answer questions and provide different perspectives. Co-host requests will be taken until Friday, May 24.
- Co-hosts will be expected to attend a pre-session Slack huddle on Monday, May 27, at 5:30 CDT. (Accommodations can be made for special reasons.)
- Sign-ups after Saturday, May 25, aren't as likely to have their "weakest area/concept" topic prioritized in the session.

SHW Baking Contest (Sponsored by King Arthur Baking Co.)

    Ended Tue, Dec 26, 2023
Hello Bakers! Welcome!
Do you like baking?
Have you ever wanted to share a recipe you invented?
Do you want more people to try out your recipes?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, here's your chance.
This is a Baking Contest right here at Schoolhouse, where you will get three days to come up with an original recipe (But you can get inspiration online!) bake it, give it a name, and take a picture and a video (of you explaining your desserts, and a sneak-peek of you baking it) of your dessert that you will then submit for the competition. There are no requirements to participate, just a love for baking. Six judges will look at all the submissions and decide which one is the best recipe! The rubric that judges will be using for the competition will be shared shortly after the orientation session, where more information will be given.
🤩The winners will receive King Arthur Baking Company gift cards, more info on that in the orientation session.
So what are you waiting for? Join us in this contest this holiday season!

SAT Mega Review Session

Hey, prospective DSAT takers!

If you’re taking the 5/4 DSAT, this session is a great place to review topics (both R&W and Math) that you’ve had issues with in the past and to ask any and all questions you may have about content, test-taking strategies, and what to expect on test day!

If you have specific topics that you’d like us to review during the session, please let us know in the welcome question. Learner-requested content review will take up roughly the first 30-45 minutes of the session. During the session, learners are encouraged to ask questions via a Google form that will be shared live. Hope to see you there!

NOTES:
- Co-hosts are welcome to apply, as the presence of multiple hosts will make it easier to answer questions and provide different perspectives. Co-host requests will be taken until Friday, April 26.
- Co-hosts will be expected to attend a pre-session Slack huddle on Monday, April 29, at 5:30 CDT. (Accommodations can be made for special reasons.)
