We will go though the first few units in Calculus. I will place a specific emphasis on learning about how something works to improve intuitive understanding and adaptability to complex problems. This course is likely faster paced than what you would experience in school in order to cover most fundamental content. Since this is just for familiarizing content, I plan to leave some of the more complicated cases for your teacher. Feel free to reach out anytime for any questions. Despite it's simple foundations, linear algebra is a subject taught to undergraduate students, typically after Calculus II. However, I have found linear algebra to be simple to learn and a powerful tool for mathematicians. In this series, we will explore the fundamentals of linear algebra, looking at vectors, matrices, linear transformations, and linear modeling. Students should have taken at least algebra II. Any knowledge regarding functions and matrices from precalculus will also be helpful.
