Hello! My name is Katy, and I'm a junior in High School. I studied for several weeks before my SAT and took almost all the practice tests available from the College Board. I hope I can help you succeed on your upcoming SAT! These sessions will mostly consist of practicing the test through individual questions or sections, in which the student will work through questions on their own. Then, there will be a group review in which I will explain each confusing question. I also plan on teaching test-taking strategies and patterns for the SAT. Don't be afraid to ask questions that seem insignificant or silly, any question could be helpful towards earning a higher score! This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
