Spanish From Nothing

We're going to be learning Spanish from the very bare bones basics. I will introduce simple concepts like common nouns, verbs, and phrases. This way we'll learn Spanish in a conversational way. However, it won't all be conversational, as we'll hopefully also look at other things like grammar and Spanish/Latin American culture.

You won't need to know any prior Spanish, although it wouldn't hurt. We'll also do everything needed in the sessions. However, I will provide some great practice materials to use outside class if you so desire. 

Also, to make sure everyone can learn from the beginning, I'll be speaking in English for at least the first few sessions.

Intro to C++

In this series we'll be learning C++, a very useful computer programming language! :) C++ is used for almost all modern videogames, super fast calculations, and so much more. We will start from the bare bones basics and hopefully take a look at some of C++'s most fun features. 
This series will be five sessions from June 20 to 24. You won't need to have any prior knowledge of programming, although it wouldn't hurt. I've been doing C++ for a while and I can't wait to share what I've learned with you all! 

Note: C++ is a challenging language, so please make sure you're up for this challenge before signing up. :)

If you don't have a C++ compiler, I'll provide a solution so that you can program C++ for the sessions.

Reading & Writing Bootcamp (Sat + Wed)

Hey everyone! I'm Jackson and I scored a 1520 on my last SAT. We'll be learning together how to ace the SAT, or at least the Reading & Writing section. We're going to be working on how to add tools to our SAT Toolbox so we can solve anything we come across. I can't wait to be there with you!

This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.

You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Intro to Computer Networking

In this fun session, I'll introduce all of you to the world of computer networking. Every time we use the Internet, we use hundreds of technologies that make these experiences possible. 

Even though I won't be able to cover everything, I'll try to cover these topics:
-> Client/Server
-> DNS and domains
-> The 7 Layers
-> IP Addresses
-> IPv4 vs. IPv6
-> TCP vs. UDP

You won't need any prior knowledge of any of these topics to participate.

Qualifications: I have a CCNA certificate and I'm studying for the CCNP :)
