All About Color

In this series, we'll go through the science of how we perceive color and the history of how people made pigments and organized colors. Then we will dive deep into how to navigate different color models used today.

This series will be an informal mix of lectures, questions, and discussions. I may add/remove or modify sessions before the session starts.

Reading & Writing Bootcamp (Wed + Fri)

Does punctuation make you freak out? Does grammar give you the jitters? Does finding the main idea scare you out of your mind? Never fear! After this series, you'll be able to take SAT questions head on and use reading and writing skills like a boss! My name is Helena, and I'm a junior in high school. I'll do all I can to guide you to the score you wish for by teaching you strategies to get you through the toughest questions.

This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.

You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
