Salvete! In this series, we will be covering some more advanced verb forms, like the subjunctive, and an extension on nouns, particularly ablative forms.

This series will be geared toward those who have had at least some experience with Latin, whether having taken an introductory course or taking it in school. Depending on how many people register, this may also function as q&a/ask me anything series, if anyone has any homework or preparation for school questions.

Into to Latin and Beyond

Salvete omnes! (Hello all!) This series is sort of a continuation of my summer camp from last summer but is welcome to all new learners. I'll spend some time reviewing what we discussed in the summer camp, and then moving on to a bunch of new stuff! 

Every week, there will be two sessions. The session earlier in the week, typically Monday evenings, we will be learning some Latin grammar, doing some translation, and basically learning all about the language. In the second session which is later in the week, typically Saturday mornings, we will be reading some short stories in Latin, mostly about Roman and Greek mythology, and Roman history, and I'll walk you through how to get an understanding of the story even if you can't completely understand the Latin (I will also be providing the English translation).

I plan to just keep adding sessions to this series for as long as you all are interested, so there isn't really a specific end date.

SAT Math Bootcamp (Fri + Sat)

Hello everyone, my name is Sophia, I'm a junior in high school and I took the SAT back in October. A couple quick things about me, my favorite math subject is Geometry, I play piano, bassoon, and guitar, and in my free time, I like to bake and volunteer at a local horse barn! I'm really excited to help you all out with the SAT Math sections and I think with a few tips and tricks, you'll find it can be really fun - or at least feel like you pulled off an amazing feat. Can't wait to meet you!
This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.

You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules

We will go over the main types of expressions to differentiate and how to approach them, as well as some tips for differentiating quickly. I will provide a few examples to go over that would use the main rules like product, power, quotient, and chain rules.
Mostly, though, I'd like to cover any general part of differentiation you all are having trouble with, so please bring any questions that we can go over in the last hour or so.
Lastly, I'm aiming this session toward anyone reviewing/cramming for the AP Calc test or finals, but all are welcome, just know this will be a quick review of differentiation with a q&a. Can't wait to see everyone!
