Reading & Writing Bootcamp (Sat + Sun)

Hello, my name is Sam! I scored a 1580 on my SAT, 780 on Reading and Writing. My goal is to help anyone who wants to take the SAT do better. I am more than happy to provide my insights, common tips and strategies, practice recommendations, and more! Whatever you need, I will do my best to be there for you, like I am for the many other students that I tutor after school at my regular high school.

This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.

You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hello! I'm Sam Hwang. I'm a senior from Nevada and a very well-rounded student in violin, fencing, academics, and standardized testing. I achieved top-notch scores on the ACT, PSAT, SAT, and SAT II Subject tests before they were discontinued; I'm not going to provide you with my actual score (although it might not matter because I can't remember if you can view that already on my profile or not lol). Feel free to drop by my session, and we can definitely go over anything else you need help with too outside of the realm of the SAT. This session will primarily be focused on the Reading & Writing aspect of the SAT as well as good test taking strategies.
