You did an excellent job by preparing beforehand the session a complete presentation and assignment to give to students. You also provided enough informations to learners, but they seem to already understand the procedural steps to solve the exercise.
A thing to ameliorate is to engage more frequently your students. Even if you engaged them at the beginning, you should aim to implicate them into the solving of exercises.
