Hi guys! 😀 First, here is a kahoot challenge [https://kahoot.it/challenge/0395908?challenge-id=eef0de59-af7b-4a5f-addd-2278de3c9097_1749173204879](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=2pHj3H8kIFSKAK9Gu5_zV)if you want to try the material ahead of time, you don't need to join the session to try this, feel free whether or not you intend to join.[ ](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=rsa2UEObrWLcFoP5GdCVQ)Have fun!
🔹 During this session, we will cover Unit 1 (based on Khan Academy) of Pre Algebra: Factors and Multiples.
If we have time, we will also cover Unit 2: Patterns.
🔹This will be an introductory session, so helpful prior knowledge includes having mastered the courses: Arithmetic A and Arithmetic B. It helps a lot to be familiar with the four operations of numbers, fractions decimals and percents, ratios and proportions, and basic geometry (area of shapes, a little volume, π, etc).
🔹This session is probably the most helpful for middle school students and freshmen, sophomores and above will probably be doing Algebra (I'm going to start a course on that too, keep an eye out for that!), and pre-algebra may be a little advanced for elementary schoolers. However, if that's not true for you, feel free to join, regardless of grade!
🔹Materials needed: Pencil/Pen, Scratch paper
(However, if you want to take notes or something similar, feel free to use highlighters, colors, or anything else to help you be successful).
🔹This is the first session in a (tentative) possible series, if it works out I will begin a Pre-Algebra series and maybe an Algebra series.
