Magnetic fields

Magnetism is an important phenomenon ion physics. It affects every aspect of our lives and is instrumental to modern society.  This series will introduce the phenomenon of magnetism. We will go over what a magnetic field is, how it affects us and how they are produced before finally ending at Faraday's law. In order to truly understand this series, I recommend everyone to have a good grasp of basic calculus and electrostatics. I will post online notes to supplement the series. I may add more sessions than the ones listed.

IGCSE Biology full revision

Rotational and rolling motion

Rotational motion is one of the most important aspects of mechanics (which is the most basic topic in physics ). In this course , we will cover all the topics from angular position to rolling motion, while building our strength through problems. Almost half of this course is dedicated to problem solving. 
Prior knowledge:
1. Introductory physics : knowledge of kinematics , dynamics (forces) , energy and momentum . (I will do a small review)
2.  Basic calculus : integration and differentiation
The course is based on the classical mechanics course in MIT OCW. The textbook used is university physics that is available for free online in open stax website.

In this session, we will go over a few interesting physics problems from really amazing problem books like Irodov and Pathfinder. The problems chosen require only knowledge of kinematics, forces and energy. Some problems require basic calculus knowledge

The most interesting way to learn physics is to solve problems .In this session, we will go over practice problems from mechanics. We will go through problems taken from JEE advanced, INPHO, a few great books and more!!
In this session, I will present a problem, and then allow the learner to try to solve it. Then we will go through the solution and discuss each part. Certain problems will require calculus. An understanding of forces, newton's laws will be required.

Problems in Mechanics

Learning physics is not just about understanding concepts but it is also about applying to questions. In this session We will go through a few interesting problems in mechanics. The problems will range from simple to tough. The problems are taken from the JEE exam in India, F=MA competition in US, Pathfinder physics, 200 puzzling problems in physics and Halliday Resnick Krane. A prerequisite for this session will be an understanding of kinematics, forces, momentum and energy. Knowledge of calculus will be required for some problems. This session will be really interesting for anyone who loves solving tricky problems and would like to challenge their understanding of physics!

Kirchoff's circuit laws

In this session, we will go over the two Kirchoff's laws for circuits. We will go over what they are and how to solve circuit problems with them. In order to understand this session, a basic introduction to circuits is necessary. Understanding of  emf, potential difference, resistance and current is a prerequisite. A paper and pen in order to solve the problems can be helpful. The assessment below will give an indication of whether you know enough concepts to understand the content.
