AP Physics 1: Mastering the Course from Start to Finish Starts Sun Sep 7, 12:00 AM AP Physics 1: Mastering the Course from Start to Finish
Instructor: Anish P
Duration: September 6, 2025 – February 28, 2026
Sessions: 23 live interactive classes (60–90 minutes each)
Format: Live lessons with guided explanations, AP-style practice, collaborative problem-solving, and Q&A. Session lengths vary by topic: 90 minutes for unit introductions and reviews, 75 minutes for main content lessons, and 60 minutes for shorter topics or the final wrap-up session.
Course Description:
This course is designed to guide AP Physics 1 students through every unit of the official College Board curriculum in a clear, structured, and interactive way. Each session combines concise concept explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and AP-style practice questions to help you master the material and succeed on the AP exam.
We’ll follow a unit-by-unit approach aligned with Khan Academy’s AP Physics 1 resources and selected YouTube demonstrations for supplemental study. Between classes, students will be encouraged to review linked materials, complete practice problems, and prepare questions for the next session.
By the end of the course, you will:
- Understand all AP Physics 1 topics, from kinematics to fluids.
- Apply concepts to solve multi-step problems under timed conditions.
- Recognize and avoid common mistakes on the AP exam.
- Build the confidence and skills needed to excel both in class and on test day.
Course Expectations:
To make the most of this course, students are expected to:
- Attendance – You will be withdrawn from the series if you have more than 2 unexcused absences in a row. If you cannot attend, message me AND submit an excused absence form on the platform before the session.
- Participation – Actively contribute by answering questions, asking clarifying questions, and engaging in problem-solving discussions.
- Preparation – Review linked supplemental materials before or after sessions and attempt practice problems to reinforce learning.
- Respect – Maintain a collaborative and respectful environment during all sessions.
- Communication – Let me know if a topic is unclear or if you need extra help—this course works best when it’s a two-way interaction.
