Infinite series are one of the most beautiful topics in calculus. In this session, we will introduce infinite sequences and series, cover convergence and some convergence tests. We will also briefly look at some fascinating examples (such as the alternating harmonic series and the Basel problem) to get a taste of why infinite series are so interesting.
Feel free to ask me any questions you have about infinite series or bring any infinite series problems you are having trouble with to the session!
For this session, it will be helpful if you know about limits. However, knowledge of any other calculus topics (such as derivatives, integrals, or differential equations ) is not necessary.
