Personal Essay Review from a Current College Student

Hello, my name is Ben, and I'm a current college freshman, and I am looking forward to helping you write a standout college application personal essay! I can give you feedback for a draft of what you currently are writing about, help you brainstorm from Common App prompts or even revise.

Throughout my own college admissions journey and helping others construct their tour de force of 650 words or less, I have noticed three key factors that will let admissions officers know you're ready for college: authenticity, distinctiveness and storytelling. Honing in on how to showcase your most human moments and stories in an engaging narrative is one of the best ways to secure an acceptance letter to your dream school.

I personally recommend you come in with at least an idea of what you want to write about OR what personality traits you would like to shed light on. My goal with this session is to not only help you find your voice, but deliver a captivating story that only you able to tell.

So come as prepared or unprepared as you wish and leave with not just an essay but a honest reflection of your identity. I hope to hear your story soon!

- Suggested for rising juniors and seniors, though all grades welcome! -
