A particularly effective moment was you checked in with Vera by asking, “Am I going too fast?” and “Have you done this before?”—this was a thoughtful way to gauge students’ readiness and adjust instruction accordingly. It really helped set the right pace and approach for the group. One area for continued growth could be incorporating more frequent, varied check-ins (such as using a quick true/false strategy) to assess real-time understanding and ensure everyone is on track. Overall, a strong and student-centered session!
