I liked how you asked everyone to introduce themselves at the start because it allows you to figure out approximately how far along they are while building community. I think you adapted to the each learners unique needs well even though it wasn’t a one on one session. One example of this is when you were helping Aliyah when she was having trouble solving for x and y. I also noticed how you asked the learners if they understood numerous times to check their progress. Another way you could make sure they understand is to write an equation and ask the learners to explain the steps in the chat at the end of the session

You were calm, composed, and respectful. You addressed each learner by name, that's a good way to create a comfortable environment and keep them engaged. You also encouraged them by appreciating their work which boosted their confidence.

Nebeela was very patient with me!! I appreciated that so so much as I struggled to share my answers via zoom because I have not familiarized myself with the features in zoom. She also challenged me with the questions she provided. I doubted my answers a lot, but I shared my solutions with her and she was able to make sure I was on the right track without giving me me the answer because I think she knew I could do it. She was very kind and her words ("you have a potential, I can see!") were very sweet. Such a wonderful, thoughtful, and brilliant tutor I have encountered at schoolhouse so far!

This is a very interesting topic and you are extremely helpful and patient. I also didn't feel that pressured so it's nice how at ease you made me feel ( a feeling that is quite rare or "average" Math students), so I greatly appreciate that. I don't have any issues.

You explanations were very in-depth and simplified, making the concepts significantly easier for students who are knew to algebra. For example, I loved your explanation about combining like terms by writing out all the X's to indicate the rule of adding coefficients.

I believe your session is a comfortable learning environment because your learners aren’t afraid to make mistakes. This is shown by Aliyah telling you she didn’t understand at around 18 minutes into the session. I also liked how you asked for feedback from your learners at the end of the session
