Thank you for this session! Filled with tons of positivity and helpfulness!

I check everything, even the conversation, and everyone is friendly and welcoming! I kindly ask that the music be slightly muted, as it may be too loud for those who are attempting to study! Everything seems good, even the chat! I saw a student—I won't mention their name—who was persistently requesting for assistance. In my opinion, the tutors ought to intervene and inform them that there isn't enough aid available and they would have to wait a few.

You explained your logic to trig derivatives through typing, which was helpful, but I wanted a little bit more specific! Thanks!

-Around 6:56, you (Cindi) ask the learner what she wants to do during the session. This is the best way to go about the session- having it student-led. -Cindi and Aarav, both of you do well in answering Izzah's (the learner who inquired about hosting sessions) questions. You definitely clear up her doubts and leave her in a good place to start her own sessions. -Aarav, you ask the second learner (the one who wanted math help) about where he stands in terms of his knowledge of the subject. You ask with a good amount of detail, asking about whether he's taken the course and also asking about his confidence (18:35). -You continuously ask the learner for his input. The session is evidently learner-led; good!

You all have a great understanding of the subject. I like that you also told the learner about your levels of mastery. This increases his confidence in you, thus allowing for his own confidence in his abilities to increases across the session. Aarav, you take a unique approach to teaching this subject, such as with your question at 29:45. This demonstrates that you want to provide a deep sense of understanding to your learners; you go beyond answers and explain concepts to a tee. Cindi, you have thorough explanations of your processes, showing that you understand the subject well. Wonderful job overall!

Great explanations! I had so much fun, and both tutors, Aarav T. and Cindy, were super friendly, nice, and caring. They are excellent tutors, and I will keep joining.

I notice that everyone in the chat is requesting that their essays, homework assignments, and other assignments be reviewed! Everyone is willing to support one another in any subject where assistance is needed! As I mentioned before, everything appears to be going well. I appreciate the breaks that are included so that students can take breaks and other things.

Yes, the learner seems to be able to solve problems on his own towards the end of the session. He also seems confident in his abilities and contributes more to solving group problems that you work on as a group (such as at 1:07:38). He also expresses interest in a following session (1:08:22), indicating he is happy with the quality of this session and feels that he's made progress on his own.

-All tutors greet their learners and clarify the pronunciations of their names. You all also "loosen up" -- you are not overly serious while still staying on topic. You also make sure to clarify things that were not necessarily asked, such as introducing yourself as cohosts and talking about your own credentials and confidence when it comes to tutoring. Good job here! -Aarav, you ask how the learner is doing before starting the session. This definitely eased any tension that may have been present. Great job! -As mentioned in earlier boxes, you strengthen learner confidence by being confident in your own ability to solve Algebra problems. You also affirm the learner's attempts (telling him his answer is close, 26:00) and even speak positively when he is not able to provide any answer at all ("that's completely okay [that you don't know]," 24:00).
