We will cover the very basics of bioinformatics (what it is, applications, etc.). The syllabus looks like this: Week 1: Introduction Week 2: Sanger Sequencing Part 1 Week 3: Sanger Sequencing Part 2 Week 4: Illumina Sequencing Week 5: Current Research and Any Suggested Topics

We will go through most SAT math topics.

We will go over operations with complex numbers, polar coordinates, and applications of complex numbers.

This series will work to prepare all students for the math sections of the August SAT. Throughout the course, students will take diagnostic exams to track their progress, and to allow me, as the tutor, to understand what the group is not understanding. There will be ample opportunities for students to meet with me one on one if they have specific questions. This course is welcome to anyone interested in improving their performance on the SAT math!
