I loved how you greated the learner by name and asked them a question about their hobby, showing them you care about them as a person. You're great at being encouraging, reassuring the learner that, even if they get something incorrect, they'll have it with just a refresher. The learner seems very comfortable sharing their thoughts and being incorrect around you.
