Great explanations and real understanding of the topics.

Great review with good theory as well and then practice problems.

I really appreciate you sharing your in-depth knowledge on how to go through these problems. There is so much that students -like me - miss in the actual class, so it is great to have this resource to learn and go over problems.

Strengths --> You did a good job checking prior knowledge of learner by asking her questions before explaining concepts, and using that information to decide what concepts to put more emphasis on. You were very engaging and asked several questions while explaining the concepts to get the learner to think and follow along. You also provided practice problems at the end of the session and throughout the session to confirm the progress of the learner. Improvements --> I could not identify any areas that you need significant improvement in, at least for the scope that I watched the recording.

I love how you were very respectful of the learner's weaknesses, and persisted to help the learner understand concepts. It is clear that you wanted the learner to benefit from the session. You maintained a positive attitude through the session no matter how difficult the session became to tutor. This all helped facilitate a comfortable learning environment.

I liked that we could work though a lot of problems in the same topic and really understand how to do them.

Your idea of using a shared google document with your learners is very effective. Most tutors use Khan Academy, but writing down notes and solving specific problems gives you more control over what you are teaching. As someone who also recently hosted a session on absolute value, your explanations are spot on and precise. Since this is not an easy topic, most learners inevitably struggle to grasp it quickly, but you do a good job at simplifying the concept as much as possible. I also loved how you made practice assessments on Schoolhouse. It is a great tool that many tutors overlook.

Liked the session and the practice problems were challenging ones that I never saw before and were interesting. It was nice that Ragav went out of his way to get these and present them to us. The prep problems were also good, because we as students and he as the teacher could assess our level of understanding of the topic.

Yes, the learner was getting answers correct at the end of the session during wrap-up problems and indicating fluidity in concepts like "linear or quadratic".
