Hi Drew, Wonderful job on your session on SAT Math! Your explanations were really thorough, and you shared several tips and tricks to eliminate the wrong answers and solve the problems quickly. You also let the learners attempt the problems and reminded them to be careful when reading the questions. I liked that you were calm, composed, and patient with the learners.

Thank you so much for hosting this discussion after a long time, Drew! It was wonderful to hear views from a personal, "how would this policy affect you" dimension, a refreshing contrast (and important complement) to the academic debates on the subject. I'm not sure this is a new addition to your sessions, but I liked the Socratic follow-up questions every time someone shared a point - that helps the learner and other learners too engage deeply with the subject. Thanks for keeping it accessible, using videos and guiding the discussion with key questions on the whiteboard.

I really liked how this session was based on alumni opinions rather than admissions officer perspectives. It really gave a unique light on MIT and info sessions in general, as I feel that most sessions don't really tell me about how unique a school is.

Thank you so much for this session, Drew! Your discussion series is one of the best parts of Schoolhouse. I love that each discussion gets better than the next. I love how you invited diverse points of view and encouraged all learners to listen and express their ideas. This was the best possible way to kickstart my workday today, as I move on to writing an essay, and scheduling and structuring my Schoolhouse session. Maybe the next topic could be how to read a book! We could talk not just about the book but also about how to read anything in general. I'll post this in the series discussion as well.

You interacted with the learners very well, by addressing their names. You were patient and made learners feel comfortable, not feel intimated when they got answers wrong. You also strengthen their confidence by letting the learners attempt the problems and using a more appreciative tone.

Drew is an excellent teacher. He knows how to make CS highly interesting and I really recommend other learners to attend his sessions as well. His session was highly interactive and I appreciate that I had the oppurtunity to share as well. He was also very kind and accommodating throughout the whole session. Scratch was a pretty new thing to me but because of his help, I was able to get the gist.

I found the session really good and interactive. In questions where we could not get the answer right, you allowed us to share how we approached the question so we can find where exactly we went wrong and what we could've done to get the answer right while saving time as well.

I liked that easiest problems were skipped; focused on the problems learners actually have trouble with; many times, tutors start from the beginning of the test (which is relatively easier) and have less time to go over the hard questions the learners had most trouble with (not being able to complete all the questions in the given time); I really appreciated this focusing on hard problems; I liked that we had timed practice; plenty of learner interactive engagement; engagement was very equally distributed, not very clustered in few people; great job! I enjoyed your session.
