About
I’m 17 and am a junior at a mid coastal Massachusetts high school. I’m an avid writer, the editor of my school newspaper and founder of the literary magazine, which I paint covers and write for. I’m well known for my investigative pieces and art commentaries. I need help with my math SAT because somehow I got into AP Statistics without taking Algebra 2, so I am missing some fundamental math skills. I will be a first generation college student, and the first woman in my extended family to have a professional career. I am currently finishing up a research study inspired by Macbeth which is being collaborated on with a professor in Germany, studying fate determinism in students. I hope to double major in either social psych or international relations with journalism. I am currently reading The Brothers Karamazov and A Little Life. I love music and learning the guitar. Currently enjoying mid 20th century jazz and Lana Del Rey’s new album (which I wrote a killer review about). I’m terminally addicted to coffee, making it yourself is the best method. Came pretty close to being struck by lightning once. I have Raynauds and potentially rheumatoid arthritis (will find out by the end of this boot camp), inconvenient for writer. New Yorker subscriber. New York Times smuggler. Pinterest aficionado. Social media denier. Ask me about my Rutabaga philosophy.
