Thank you for the session! I perfectly learned about the articles and solve the problem because of you so thank you

You were able to see when a learner might be struggling and did a fantastic job helping them. You adapted to their needs and explained things very consistently, concisely, and knowledgeably.

Tutor · 8 days ago

You did great providing practice for you learners and having them explain why they got their answer, why an answer might be wrong, or doing both. even though you had to do a lot of explaining you still managed to do these things at a very high level. You are doing amazing!

Thank you very very very much for the session you're the best teacher ever in english and you're so funny and friendly Thank you once again

Learner · 9 days ago

I really appreciate your help. Thanks to your support, I managed to solve all the questions. I wouldn't have been able to do it without you!

Learner · 24 days ago

Thank you for telling me so much about the SAT, and you are the best tutor — highly recommended!

Learner · 25 days ago

The session was highly interactive. Vishruthi frequently invited Emma to try problems aloud and explain her process. She asked questions like “Do you want to walk me through what you’re reading?” and prompted Emma to reflect on eliminated choices. This created space for metacognition and highlighted not just what the right answer was, but how to approach it. Her affirming tone encouraged consistent participation.

Tutor · 28 days ago

Since it was a 1 on 1 session, I think you clearly demonstrated a continuous engaging environment, consistently asking the learner to walk you through their thinking process and sharing your own strategies to create more options.

Tutor · 29 days ago

Many of your explanations were like a conversation between you and the learner, which is great because I think it shows that whenever he had questions, you were answering them as you went.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

Thank you so so much for the session! It was truly so helpful and the tips and tricks definitely help me feel more confident!

Learner · 1 mo. ago

Vishruthi is able to actively tailor to each individual learner(s) needs. An example was providing the second learner with a load of resources. E.g. Google Drive, Quizlet, and Youtube Playlists. These resources seemed to be extremely helpful for the second leaner! Overall, you satisfied the recommendations!

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

You constantly engaged your learners - whether asking them how to write out how they got their answers or talking to them about their life in general. I feel like you really bonded with Venkata and you guys had a really fruitful discussion which went beyond just helping him solve problems. Amazing job!

Thank you so much for this session!

You are amazing. I don't know how to thank you enough but you are so great. I am grateful to meet with you.

Learner · 1 mo. ago

I like the detailed and positive explanation when the learner asked you if he was a good speaker. The learner was also very comfortable asking questions and participating.

Thank you so much for the session!

Splendid!! ifykyk, Fantastic.

Learner · 1 mo. ago

The tutor began the session with empathy and warmth, checking on the student’s health and creating a genuine, human connection before discussing academics. They consistently validated the learner’s feelings and reinforced a sense of shared responsibility in the study process. Their patient and kind tone built trust and encouraged a safe space for planning and learning.

You adapted your schedule and lesson planning to match Joy’s packed schedule and learning preferences. For example, when Joy said he wanted live practice sessions because bootcamps felt too fast-paced, you adjusted by offering smaller group sizes and more personalized support. You also agreed to supervise practice tests in a flexible way that made it easier for him to stay on track, even if it just meant being present in the session.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

You encouraged Joy to share his goals and needs for the SAT, and you were attentive throughout. The whole session was focused on planning around what he wanted, from session timing to content type (e.g., when you said, “I'll write it down, or I'll write it down my notes”). You asked clarifying questions to make sure you were on the same page and adjusted your suggestions based on his responses.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

I like how you greeted your learner by name and asked about their wellbeing after they said were recovering from the flu. I also really liked how you provided your learner with positive affirmations and gave them confidence in the college app process.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

Thanks a lot... you are great.

Learner · 1 mo. ago

Thank you for the session!!

Learner · 1 mo. ago

She was talking back to us, which was nice because it was student-led. 10/10 :D

Learner · 1 mo. ago

She is the best English tutor of my life. Thanks a lot for the help and hope to see you again.

Learner · 1 mo. ago

You used words of encouragement throughout the session, which definitely helped strengthen the learner's confidence! Also, you made sure to refer to the learner by name, which is extremely valuable in creating a comfortable learning environment. I know that this is one of your first sessions, and it is unfortunate that your learner had technical issues. Even in this situation, you were able to have an effective session. I'm very impressed! Phenomenal job overall, keep it up!

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

I liked your inclusion of asking learners if they were familiar with concepts, in this case, dependent and independent clauses. Gauging where learners are can be super helpful in how you approach or adjust your tutoring method for a topic! I also enjoyed how you used the chat to allow learners to share questions. Additionally, when answering inquiries, I liked how you went through it step by step, instead of going through the entire problem at once without learner input. Great job with adapting, and continue to improve on your strategies going forward!

Tutor · 8 days ago

You did an amazing job making the learners feel safe when they made mistakes and feel very comfortable to make them. You also did a great job encouraging the learners. I think they improved and took away many helpful things from this session I know I did! You developed a very strong connection and ya'll were even having a very long conversation at the end! I feel like I could take a few notes from you! I'm going to try to replicate your environment in my own tutoring.

The session was too amazing! I learned how to solve English questions really well because of Vishruthi. In the end, we talked about movies and had a lot of fun. Thank you for the session!

Learner · 24 days ago

Thank you for the session! It was really helpful and I learned a lot about grammar rules :)

Learner · 25 days ago

My teacher is truly amazing — every time she motivates me with her energy and words. She was taking my IELTS session, and honestly, her guidance really pushed me to do better.

Learner · 26 days ago

Vishruthi demonstrated an excellent grasp of the SAT reading section, especially the differences between central idea, detail, and evidence-based questions. She thoughtfully tailored the session around Emma’s needs, focusing on higher-difficulty comprehension skills in Module 2. Vishruthi’s ability to scaffold question types and anticipate their interrelatedness (e.g., how understanding detail questions supports command of evidence) showcased a strategic and nuanced understanding of the test.

Tutor · 28 days ago

I really like how there was a good balance between how much the tutor and learner both engage in the session. For example, the learner frequently explained their thought process when reading through a passage/answering questions. The tutor displays the capability of successfully engaging the learner which was very nice to see.

Tutor · 29 days ago

You did a really good job on encouraging the learner (eg: by saying "yes, perfect, perfect" when he answered your question correctly), and frequently checked in with him to make sure he followed what you were doing. He was also comfortable to ask you questions and when something didn't make sense, he asked you to repeat it, indicating a comfortable learning environment.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

You certainly adapted to his needs and struggles by spending 15+ minutes per problem, which was needed in this case for full comprehension. So that was excellent there, instead of rushing. Again, as mentioned before, you filled in some gaps in knowledge to explain the question successfully, and overall, this section was nearly flawless, I think.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

Vishruthi, you exceeded in creating an extremely comfortable environment throughout the entire session. Students feel free to openly communicate with you. Additionally, your explanations are thorough and ensures the leaner understands the underlying concepts. For example, when approaching a systems of equations problem, you asked whether the learner knew the "meaning" behind no solution. When the student was confused, you presented the system in Desmos to provide a visual. Overall, great job in laying the foundation!

Thank you so much for the session, you're an amazing tutor!!

Learner · 1 mo. ago

Thank you so much for the session!

Learner · 1 mo. ago

You most definitely tried to analyse the general trend in the learner's questions and addressing that (like most of his questions were proposition questions). This is mainly a Q&A session so you do a good job adapting to the learner's needs.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

I liked the session today. The tutor was very kind and friendly. I also learned new strategies that helped me shorten the time for reading SAT passages and answer more questions correctly. I look forward to attending more sessions!

Learner · 1 mo. ago

You have really good explanations :)))

Learner · 1 mo. ago

The tutor was highly attentive to the learner’s schedule, health issues, and academic commitments. They adjusted their own tentative schedule in response to the learner’s needs, expressing a willingness to move their sessions earlier based on the student’s time constraints. This flexibility showed strong adaptability and care for the learner’s well-being.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

The tutor maintained a personal and thoughtful conversation throughout. They asked clarifying questions, offered suggestions, and patiently responded to the learner’s concerns and plans. This two-way interaction made the student feel heard and supported, and the tutor’s note-taking and validation of requests further encouraged open dialogue.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

You took time to ask about Joy’s health and had a friendly back-and-forth about allergies and asthma. This helped make the conversation feel relaxed and supportive. You also responded kindly when Joy shared that he was feeling overwhelmed and tried to reduce stress by offering flexible options and saying “that’s totally fine” more than once when discussing scheduling or test plans.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

You were well-prepared and clearly familiar with the learner’s needs and goals. Even though there wasn’t any formal content instruction, the conversation showed that you had already thought through a structured plan for both grammar and reading practice, and you outlined it in a way that made it easy to follow (like when you broke down the differences between the grammar and reading series). You also used the whiteboard and repeated dates and times to make sure everything was clear, which helped build a strong foundation for future sessions.

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

You always try to make the learner comfortable. You try to adapt to his need's. For example, he mentioned that he was very shy. Subsequently, you showed compassion and a good study plan. Additionally, the learner explained his future goals. Thus, you created a study plan that would help him to reach those goals.

I loved how she let us, the students, understand better!

The sweetest tutor ever <33

Learner · 1 mo. ago

The best English teacher in my life. Now, English sounds like science to me, like they have reason too. Thank you for all the help.

Learner · 1 mo. ago

Since you and the learner both had to use the chat, it was very difficult to detect signs of struggle, so the first category is not applicable. However, I was really impressed in the way you were able to adapt the session to the learner's technical difficulties, and still helped him solve his questions. Amazing job!

Tutor · 1 mo. ago

Hello Vishruti! I know that this is one of your first sessions, but it looked like the session ran smoothly without any major hiccups. The only issue seemed to be that your learner was unable to hear you, but I think that was a problem on their end. In any case, you handled that very well and communicated on chat, so great job! Also, you knew what you were talking about, and your explanations were on point, so you conveyed a deep understanding of the material!
