You did an excellent job checking your learner's knowledge beforehand, asking if he knew what implicit differentiation was, which allowed you to tailor this session. You also did an excellent job building off your learner's knowledge, going over multiple concepts, to which your learners ended up understanding at the end through his engagement. You also at the end were able to give him practice problems, to which he was able to solve on his own.

You did an excellent job facilitating a respectful environment with Welled. One thing you did well on was allowing your learner to ask questions throughout this session comfortably. This way you allowed your learner to comfortably reinforce any gaps needed. Additionally, both of you were able to collaborate, which demonstrates a comfortable learning environment as both of you were able to talk.
