What, where and how? These are questions students ask themselves before, during, and after the college application. Luckily, in this series, the College Advice Moderator team will guide you through these uncertainties!

🧩What & Where: Tips and tricks on picking colleges to apply to. We will be talking about what you should look for in a college and what things are green flags. This is for anyone who plans to apply to college.

📈How: Once you've gotten in, how do you prepare for college? Some tips on how to succeed, what to bring (packing list), and how to manage your time. This is for people heading into college this fall!

This series we will be hosting TWO different sessions: What & Where session and How session. Please be sure to join the session that is applicable to you.

You may be wondering why these are important when your goal at the moment is just to apply for college. Realize this: going to college is just one big step towards career prep. This will not be the last time you apply for things and, sadly, you will still be applying for things even in college and far beyond. These skills are essential for college applications (where you can include a supplemental resume), scholarships, fellowships, research positions, higher-higher education such as graduate school or medical school, and future jobs!

The Power of Passion Projects

Through these identical sessions hosted by the College Advice Moderator Team (Percival and Cindy), you can learn what a passion project is, how to start your own, and many different examples of previous projects from top tier students.
This is a great series for youths, freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who plan on applying for college. Additionally, this is a excellent opportunity for all of you to ask any questions you may have about the college admissions process to the Mod team!
