I liked your way of explaining the question with drawings so learners can visualize the problem, for example, the problem involving the rate of digging.

You were kind and respectful and put sincere effort into explaining the concepts. You can also let the learners solve problems on their own, which will strengthen their confidence and you can use a more appreciative tone. You can also take a few minutes in the beginning with ice breaker questions.
