I loved literally everything. The tutor was really calm and patient. Took his time in explainning. Really looking forward to more of his sessions.

Your explanations of dimensions and 2D kinematics was on-point! I liked that you often appealed to what the learner knew before - in order to build a sense of sequential learning in physics - and that rather than pushing equations into the learner's face, you explained them clearly and slowly! I got the impression that you knew what you were talking about (as I am also a physics student), so overall, there is nothing left to be desired here.

You are consistently friendly throughout the entire session, never once downplaying your learner or otherwise souring the environment.

The session motivated me to work hard and give my full effort in solving SAT practice problems. As a result, I got all the answers correct. Thanks for the help!

Love that you went in depth with each question and were very patient when someone didn't understand a section of the question.

Learner · 2 yr. ago

I felt he genuinely tried to make sure every student understood the explanations

I learned as well as understanding a lot of problems. I also understood what I got wrong. In addition, I learned how to solve problems that I didn't know.

I enjoyed how he explained the SAT math really well. So thank you so much Viljit D for being such a helpful tutor to me. I'm so thankful that I'm in your class.

Absolutely! Your learner seems to understand the material well enough to make coherent and relevant comments - the final velocity formula he gave, although wrong, was close to the right answer and the wrongness came from an understandable mix-up, and he correctly sees the double sine formula in your derivation of the range formula. Nothing left to be desired.

It was fun and interactive.

Hi Vijit! I'm Vince and I just audited your session. First, I liked how you started the session by introducing yourself so the learners could get to know you better, creating a more comfortable learning atmosphere. I also really liked how you strongly emphasized that the learners should focus on the solving process and not just the answer, a great example of aiming for mastery. Throughout the first half of the session where you took in SAT math questions from the previous session, you continued asking questions that prompted learners to complete missing steps in the solution method. Overall, this was a fantastic session! Thanks for being a tutor at SHW and don't stop being awesome! - Vince
