NOTE: This series is primarily marketed towards juniors and/or sophomores who will be taking the PSAT, but you are welcome to join if you are looking for regular SAT prep, the tests are largely the same.

Preparation for AP Physics 1

Worried about taking AP Physics 1 in the upcoming school year? Then look no further. This course is designed as an introduction to the AP Physics 1 course. The course will primarily focus on building the foundations for AP Physics 1 through the first two units: Kinematics and Dynamics. We will also be going over AP-style questions, both in multiple choice and free response format! Looking forward to seeing you here! REQUIRED PREREQUISITES: Algebra 1 and Geometry. Recommended Prerequisite: Algebra 2. You may be withdrawn if you do not meet these requirements and/or fail to answer the welcome questions.

Get Ready for AP Physics 1

This course is aimed at those who will be taking the class in the upcoming school year and want to prepare for it and the AP test. We will go through the first three Units of the AP Physics 1 course in depth over several weeks to help introduce the nature of the course and prepare for future content. The main goal of this series is to not only learn the topics but to understand them conceptually as well to prepare you well for the AP test. In addition, we will also practice the skills necessary for success in this course in the upcoming school year. 

You will need a notebook, pencils, and a calculator for each session, as well as an open mind and willingness to learn!
