This session will serve as a continuation of the previous one about the graphical representation of equations. Now we will have to analyze word problems and come up with certain mathematical conclusions like periodicity, inequalities, and some exponents. Although by this point we will not have studied exponential models, there are some exercises that feature 'compound-interest' type problems so I will also present this formula (which I presume you have at some instant seen before).
To understand these you of course need good foundational knowledge of functions.
For those interested (not homework by any means), I will post some exercises after each session, some of which may go more in-depth than the material covered in Khan Academy.

Hello everyone. This session will be all about modeling. The best way to learn modeling is going over word problems! We'll see how to combine functions in word problems, how to interpret periodicity and symmetry in functions, and how to manipulate formulas. We'll also see how to properly consider different parts of a graph, and modeling with multiple variables. This is a great skill to practice to make you more confident in word problems.
