About

Hello there, my name is Mario and I am super happy to be able to teach you a little bit about exponential functions, putting more emphasis on their graphs. In this 60-minute session, we will review fundamental properties in problem-solving, see basic and fundamental concepts in graphing exponential functions, and discuss some interesting properties of these same graphs. I will also bring up basic properties from Calculus I that relate to this very particular type of function. Aaa, I can't forget to mention that we're not only going to stick to real numbers but also analyze exponential functions with complex and imaginary numbers. For this session, I recommend a basic knowledge of pre-algebra, especially the exponent parts and their properties. Having a graphing calculator is not mandatory, but it is interesting if you want to see with your own hands the graphs we will study. Otherwise, your presence and willingness alone are enough. See you there!
