About
Hello guys! In this session, I will be talking most specifically about impressionist art and certain techniques to it as well as the aspects of impressionism that have always intrigued me, such as the way both science and impressionists use the power of observation, but accurately express them in different ways--scientists must meticulously record their observations while impressionists must bring their creative interpretation of observational data to accurately convey the observation--observation for the artist is not just literal but also emotional--the meaning of "accuracy" for the artist is first and foremost conveying their feelings towards a particular scenery before depicting accuracy in the sense of meticulous representation. For the artist, one can draw a real life, non-imagined object abstractly while drawing an abstract imagined object reality--in short, style defines the scientific laws in the world of the artist's mind and governs reality.
