About
This session will focus on the SAT Practice Test #1 Math Section (the test can be found on the CollegeBoard Website).
The schedule will be as follows:
1. Introduction (5 minutes).
2. The learner independently completes the No Calculator Section of the test whilst I put a timer on the screen. (20 minutes for 20 questions).
3. I read out the answers (2 minutes)
4. We cover any questions the learners may have regarding the questions or the topics covered (20 minutes).
5. The Learner Completes the Calculator Section (38 minutes for 38 questions)
6. We will review the answers and any questions the learners may have on the questions or topics addressed.
The idea is to complete each math question in these sections in one minute so that the stress on test day may be reduced slightly. It is completely okay if you do not finish the test during the practice run, but you should try your very best and at least identify the concepts with which you may struggle. You can still learn a lot from other people's mistakes or from my going through the question.
A calculator will be required.
