About
Pranayama Breathing for Meditation, Relaxation and Focus
In this session, we'll learn about the ancient practice of "pranayama" (yogic breathing) and how to get started using this practice as a bridge to meditation. These particular breathing exercises are also helpful if you want to relax and calm your nerves before a test, exam, study session, performance, event, or just to help with stress management and better sleep.
I am a ERYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) with almost ten years of experience teaching yoga (including breathing and meditation). This session is for everyone, from those who have never done meditation to those with lots of experience! Dress comfortably and have a place to sit (chair, meditation cushion, pillow on the floor)--otherwise, no equipment or supplies required!
