Series Details

About

This series is a beginners guide to web development, so if you are someone that knows nothing about this topic but your interested, feel free to join :) No pre-requisites are needed for this series, all beginners are WELCOME :) These sessions will span over the course of 5 weeks and each week we will meet two times. By the end of these sessions, you would have learnt about the basics of HTML & CSS and you would also have created several website projects. Please do take note this course will have extra work for you to do after the session as that is the best way to practice and not forget how to code. HTML & CSS are the basic and backbones to a website, adding Javascript will make it more interactive. As learners finish this course, they can move on in my next series on Advanced Web Development Part 1. HTML & CSS is everywhere, you can see it anytime you go on a website, even schoolhouse is build by HTML & CSS. It is a very important skill to learn Throughout this whole course, the concepts of "usage" and "applications" will pop up always, it is the key of this course and we will always look towards these two concepts. This is my fourth time hosting this series and it will also be my last time for a couple of months, I have incorporated all feedback from previous series to make this series as fulfilling as possible Please note that by signing up for this series, you have downloaded the following two softwares, these softwares are official and non-virulent. - Visual Studio Code: https://code.visualstudio.com/ - Google Chrome: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser-tools/ Looking forward to seeing y'all join :)
